A little story about how bad things can happen through a chain of tiny things that aren't quite right.

And have a look at this: After the door plug blew out of the Alaska Airlines 737 Max 9, the FAA put out an emergency airworthiness directive, requiring inspection of the mounting hardware for the door plugs on all 737 Max 9s. United found this on several of its aircraft. The screws pictured here mount the door plug lower hinges to the airframe. twitter.com/ByERussell/status/1744460136855294106/photo/1
Wow, those are in the process of departing their service position.

This will be an easy fix, and lives will be saved.
