The Vesper's Host Dev Area is finally reachable!
We've had our eyes on this one for a while. If it weren't for the inverted turnbacks, we probably would have IRB'ed to it long ago, but now that's no longer a problem :D
Vesper's Host is second only to Deep Stone Crypt in terms of how many OOB related patches it's recieved, and definitely has come out the worse of the two. Before and after first encounter is a mess of turnbacks and kill barriers. Luckily, if you start from a second encounter checkpoint, you can skip all of that nonsense and still sequence break to a no-darkness zone 3. The cryoslide spot search here was quite eventful. Between temporary spots and spots locked within sold rooms, we almost didn't have a viable solo method, but thanks to a great cryoslide spot Pete found, it should be entirely soloable on Titan. Or, if you've got a fireteam, you can triple up and get the sliding done in a mere 30-45 minutes! That may sound long, but you should see how long we've spent sliding in Dark Forest...
Anyways, if you're going to try any cryosliding at all, this is the one I'd recommend. It's an interesting piece of Vesper's Host history that I'd love to get more details on.
