Destiny 2 needs to change its content model. Specifically how it handles seasonal content. 3 years Bungie has produced this same lackluster and derivative content, and Season of The Seraph is no different. It's predictable, uninspired, and lacks any innovation whatsoever. Destiny 2 has an interesting future ahead of it if Bungie doesn't figure out a way to change up how it delivers new Destiny content. Focusing on the Core Activities is likely the answer as they haven't been a focus in years. Season 19 of Destiny feels the same as every season since Season 8.
