Destiny 2's Lore and Story from the new Equilibrium Dungeon features Dredgen Sere, a master of Taken power who has been using the forces of the Barant Imperium to build a Throne World. This is not just any Throne World though. It is a throne world that is also supposedly meant to act as a door for Six to access the Ascendant Realm and take root within its dark reality. Sere himself is also one of our first human enemies, though you might not be able to tell. He has made such contact with Six that he's begun to wither away into a less than corporeal being.
