THNKR | Design for All | Lilly Pulitzer @thnkr | Uploaded September 2019 | Updated October 2024, 14 hours ago.
Lilly Pulitzer's pastel patterns were born out out necessity, when she launched her very first business running a juice stand in Palm Beach, Florida, in the 1960s. Lilly's clothes would be covered in fruit stains after a day at the stand, so she designed a smart, brightly printed dress to cover up the stains. The dress was a hit, and Lilly’s playful pastel prints quickly took off, soon worn by none other than the first lady on the cover of Life Magazine.
Lilly’s beautiful patterns are timeless classics and, in this episode of Collaborators, see how the Pulitzer brand is the ultimate party, and everyone is invited.
