This took me 8 orbs

This is definitely the easiest Awakened boss of them all, but it can still cause some trouble.

Taking a screenshot of the pillars is the easiest method - you can definitely complete it without it but the sanity percentage drops a good amount while you could be studying the pillars, so I found it best to just take a screenshot.

I think it's best to try and stay on a certain tile rather than moving around a bunch, as consistency with this boss makes it trivial. You can also see I found certain areas of the arena where tentacles would spawn from predictable directions. There's probably people who use this to their advantage and have tens of tiles marked for it but I also found it more enjoyable to stay in the center as much as possible. I was definitely gravitating towards the southern side to be close to pillars proccing though.

You can take a few hits here and there and lose some sanity as long as you regain it during the orbs + minions specials. Those ones are pretty hard to mess up (Venator bow is a must) so you shouldn't have much fear of running out of sanity unless you royally mess up somewhere.

True tile also is very helpful (only for the orbs, not necessary for other parts of the fight) so you can turn that on if you want.

One thing to look out for is when the Whisperer enters into the enrage phase, she becomes un-clickable. I found that out by clicking through her, not being able to move then taking a 68-68 melee, so be aware.

This fight got me the Ancient blood ornament kit which is cool. I think it would be interesting to see people speedrun the awakened bosses.

Personally I'll be killing the normal bosses for a bit (I have less than 200 total killcount combined) so I'm looking forward to hopefully getting some drops, even though I'm not a fan of the ring drop mechanic.

Also I don't even have the Whisperer ring teleport so I'll be going back for that.
