Dereck is one of the pioneers of talking about music on Youtube, and is also an accomplished muscian. Thus, it is not just a reflex for him, but also a reflexion, as anyone would notice on his daily musings about music, the world and his record collection/collecting.
As someone who is as much interested in the kitchen work and history as the meal, I thought he'd be a good sparing partner for such a discussion.
