This is the third track in the album, "Depressive House." This album focuses on dark, ambient, and down-tempo variations of the House genre. It focuses on not only depression, as in the emotional state, but also on the sense of keeping things down-tempo and slow.
I decide to mess with seventh chords and instead of just applying them sparingly, the entire chord progression is just seventh chords. I feel that it gives it a very distinct sound and allows it to modulate quite well. The piece does have a major modulation that occurs around the end where it falls a whole-step and is quite abrupt.
