I am Cynthia Drayer, Philips ex-wife. I am glad to see that positive comments and interest is still there in his work. His daughter Marie was only 8 years old when he was murdered by suicide. The main reason why he started talking was because his best friend, Ron Rummel, has also been murdered by suicide. They had been publishing a little magazine called the Alien Digest. It was starting to get worldwide attention when they found Rons body up in a Portland, Oregon park.
