Not gonna lie; when i first heard the title of this song I was skeptical. I expected to dislike it. Instead, it actually grabbed hold of me pretty quickly and I immediately understood it was about addiction and how it's a monkey on your back. It's a subject Dave and Mart are both familiar with. I knew I had to make a video, and it all flowed together in less than two hours. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with addiction I urge you to not bear this burden alone. There's a myriad resources available to help you recover.
