Chase the Night is the new single from The System Dreams of You, who is Denver-based artist Andreas Hopkins. I discovered the song quite by accident on TikTok, while driving home from work, and was drawn in by the synths. This is the kind of song I like to play at night while driving, and it brought me back to my younger days in the late 80s and early 90s, driving into the city to dance my ass off at the clubs. Andreas was kind enough to give me permission to make my own video for it. I kept my nostalgia for heading towards the bright lights and bustle of the city at night and felt the time-lapse speed was a contrast to the slower moodiness of the song.
