Deoxys is notoriously known for being, well… terrible in every way imaginable, in competitive Pokémon at least. Deoxys has been living in the shadow of its superior Attack form as a wallbreaker. Aside from that its also outclassed by its Speed form as a lead, as that form is significantly faster. Deoxys is an Ubers tier Pokémon in competitive singles and under Ubers standards Deoxys is considered horrible and not worth a teamslot in most cases, but its stats are way too good for OU, leaving Deoxys in this very weird position. However despite all of this, Deoxys has been able to find some small niches in competitive singles throughout the generations, making it not completely useless.
