Before heading down into the bowels of Hell known as Valley of Defilement(5-2) I take some time to upgrade my weapon first. Armed with my Blessed Mace I head back to 4-1 to exact revenge on the skeletons and take out a pair of crystal lizards for their shards. Afterwards I head into Stonefang Tunnel to reach Blacksmith Ed and upgrade my Crescent Falchion so that I can be as prepared as possible. Then against my better judgement I descend into Hell to confront the Dirty Colossus waiting for me at the end of 5-2.
