1. Between themselves and the divine in Scrooby, England in 1606: The Scrooby Covenant - a treasonous act which was the first step for humanity in the move from absolute monarchy to democracy and the separation of church and state.
2. With the passengers on the Mayflower: The Mayflower Compact - establishing a civil society based on consent of the governed.
3. With the Pokanoket Wampanoag Indians - a treaty of peace and friendship 1621-1675.
