DEMC 48" ceiling fan in white, shown using the included 5 speed control. All components brand new in original individual boxes. Surprise! Back with the second fan, and no, this is not just the other blade set swapped over for demonstration. I kept an eye on that eBay seller, and another 48" set turned up in its own separate listing! I'm thanking the universe for coming through on this one, because I would've kicked myself over missing that other set for nearly all of eternity. So now I have completed both of these units that I've had sitting around for all these years. Oddly enough, this box of blades came with 4 inside. Not an actual set of 4, an extra one just got shoved in there at some point. Kinda neat that I could do a 4/metal setup if the opportunity ever presented itself. This motor is still generally in NIB condition, but there are some spots of paint bubbling from perhaps some moisture penetration, one area where it crumbled away and I touched it up a bit. This one also really hasn't been run ever as long as I've had it, as opposed to the other one that saw just a bit of run time, so the bearings were a little noisy here. I let it run for a short while after recording to see if they'd quiet down, and they did, so it's good to know they're not entirely toast. On this one, the lower canopy is much more squished/deformed than the first fan, and it's got a crack so I worry about trying to do anything with it and just completely destroying it. I positioned it so it wouldn't show as much on the video, but it just doesn't look great at any angle. But again, minor complaints aside, I'm beyond thrilled to have both fans complete with all NIB/NOS components, which I never thought would ever be a possibility. Sometimes, the wait really does pay off, and makes it that much more satisfying.
