Seems like I should just be hitching a ride with the lead scientist instead of going on a roundabout path. She even has a cool robot that definitely won't turn on me!

![Voltage High Society [6F] Warden Whacked
Clunky final section with all the bugs that popped up. Also felt a bit anticlimactic to have that shipyard diversion. But then again... the whole ending was anticlimactic. Im not sure if the game glitched out on me during the credits or if that was the actual end.
Voltage High Society was fine. The combat was unobtrusive, although incredibly trivial. The environments were often confusing to navigate, but I made it through. The plot was sparse and felt incomplete. The UI in the inventory screen indicated that there were people you could interact with that just werent in the game (or maybe hidden things that I didnt find any hint of?). The amount of collectibles severely fell off (or I just didnt find any of them) after the introductory area. It feels unfinished and highly compromised, but they had plenty of time to work on it. I didnt dislike playing it, but I cant point to a single thing thats good about it. Voltage High Society [6F] Warden Whacked](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ksyjkcNjxsc/mqdefault.jpg)
![Doom: The Dark Ages [20] Chaos Makyr
Well, at least the dragon section was short. Fun aside from that bit. I think not bothering to explore is making the pacing a lot more snappy too. Doom: The Dark Ages [20] Chaos Makyr](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/l1xUFF9ZxcE/mqdefault.jpg)
![Quake Brutalist Jam III [33] Wrangling Reactor
Neat variety of areas and the issue I had with progression feels like largely it was my own mistake (I shouldnt have avoided trying to drop into that area). Quake Brutalist Jam III [33] Wrangling Reactor](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/l3Lz0hLa9LU/mqdefault.jpg)
![Dino Crisis [5] Rexed
Well, that section could have gone better, but I got the hang of it eventually. Thankfully theres speedup, although with the retries it would have given me enough tries anyway, so I shouldve just gone that route. Dino Crisis [5] Rexed](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/mBip8hPcw9I/mqdefault.jpg)
![Quake Brutalist Jam III [7] In the Bigger City
Wasnt quite sure if the few dev textures that I found in the first map were intentional or accidental. Quake Brutalist Jam III [7] In the Bigger City](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/mWv1g_8DpEo/mqdefault.jpg)
![Delta Particles [1] Not Again!
Someone said this was good and I wasnt in the mood for anything else, so Im trying it.
Apparently Ive been playing games that are a bit more forgiving with hit distance, so Im whiffing a lot. Delta Particles [1] Not Again!](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/mvRyqTTO1Pg/mqdefault.jpg)

![Angeline Era [7] Sister Act
Figures I enter the longest level when I have a 20 minute max length for the video. It did mean that I didnt end up using that one key, and I probably will forget about that by the time I return.
It occurs to me now that I probably wasnt missing anything in the one waterfall level - that was probably to tell me that the angels were using the fae to give the appearance of miracles. Although maybe I can go back if I get the horn referenced in that one underwater level. Angeline Era [7] Sister Act](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/nWf3TSwwxXA/mqdefault.jpg)
![Fear the Spotlight [3] Center Stage
The two plots ended up feeling a bit disconnected. Well see if Amys chapter sheds more light on it. Fear the Spotlight [3] Center Stage](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oMgCKK-MlDU/mqdefault.jpg)
![Quake Brutalist Jam III [28] House of Slaughter
Two firsts, I think: my first Quake slaughter map (that comes to mind) and my first Quake Family Guy map (that comes to mind). Quake Brutalist Jam III [28] House of Slaughter](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/osNU-BgJmPQ/mqdefault.jpg)
![Quake Brutalist Jam III [34] Annihilated
Some really impressive environment in the third map. All three were quite enjoyable generally, although Im starting to feel like I may have seen every encounter permutation now. Later maps are just going to suffer because I have played seventy(!) maps doing a roughly similar theme first.
