In this video, I show you how to unclog the pressurized filter basket of the Delonghi Dedica Duo EC890. This should be the same process really, for all versions of the Dedica (EC6680, EC685, EC885, etc), and really all machines that come with pressurized baskets.
Of course, you can also avoid this issue buy purchasing a normal, non-pressurized basket, which I will link below. Just know that you'll then need a capable espresso grinder (like a Baratza ESP, DF54, or Kingrinder K4), to use the non-pressurized baskets, since they don't provide pressure on their own. The coffee beans are in this case responsible for building pressure, and they must be ground finely enough to be able to provide force opposite of the incoming pressurized water. Fresh beans also helps in this case, as older beans also lose their ability to provide pressure.
