In this video, I show you the reason why you need a grinder. Even if you buy high quality espresso beans that are pre-ground, the grind size will most likely be off. In this case, waaay too coarse. Also, the beans lose freshness much more quickly, once ground. Get yourself a grinder, even a cheap one, and you'll get much better espresso.
