Somehow, I didn't make a video of simply adding a HDD (or a second SSD) to my Dell 3880. This is mostly due to the fact that until recently Dell wasn't offering a 3880 with less than 1TB of storage space in one form or another. With the rise of their 256GB SSD only model, this has become more of an issue.

NOTE: A short caution about buying hard drives on the internet... Make sure you are buying a drive from a reputable seller that is selling "retail" drives and not "OEM". Most manufactures will only honor their warranties on "retail" drives. I suggest only purchasing drives on Amazon FROM Amazon (check the "Sold By" on the product page) to help reduce that risk. Buying off the shelf in a physical store in an obvious retail package (so... the difference between buying a jar of name-brand peanuts vs. buying a scoop of peanuts from the bulk section) eliminates virtually 100% of this risk.
With that warning out of the way, I can't remember the last time I had a hard drive fail under warranty. In my experience, they either arrive dead or last for a decade. I don't usually worry too much about warranties. Please do as you wish with that information.
