. This is a continuation from a previous video I had done on the DeGraw DIY Arduino Speaker Kit (youtube.com/watch?v=sXT5d0txIR0) where I show the kit installed in my Packard Bell Multimedia F170 tower PC.
For the installation I 3D printed a snap-in 5.25 drive bay holder for the two speakers in the kit. As i suspected there wasn't enough available space for the amplifier to fit with them so that component had to be located separate from the speakers.
As for the amplifier I 3D printed an adapter that used the rear modem slot found on Packard Bell cases. This mainboard didn't support such a modem that used it so it worked out fine. As for the connections, the speakers connect to the 4-pin speaker out from the amplifier. The 5-volt power despite what I said in the video does come from a good 5-volt and ground on the Aztech sound card wavetable header. The L/R audio input comes from the line out header of the Aztech sound card (which I had to solder on as the card from factory did not have any soldered on).
