One month after my facelift feels like a milestone…but not a finish line.
In this video, I’m sharing my full 1 month facelift update including what has improved, what still feels tight, how swelling looks at 4 weeks, and whether I recognize my face yet. If you’re researching facelift recovery timelines, especially over 50, this is a look at what 30 days post op actually feels like.
I’ll show close ups, talk about numbness and sensation, how eating and smiling feel now, and the emotional side of reaching the one month mark. Some things surprised me.
About my facelift journey (for context):
I’m 52 and I lost about 120 pounds, which left me with significant loose skin on my face and neck. I chose to move forward with surgery after years of thinking about it.
I chose Dr. Paige Kennedy in Lafayette, Louisiana.
My procedures included:
Facelift
Neck lift
Upper blepharoplasty (lid lift)
Lower lid pinch
Fat grafting
Earlobe reduction
Salivary gland reduction
The total cost was in the low five figures.
