Day 13 after my facelift feels quieter than the days before it…and that’s almost harder to explain.
The swelling is still there. The tightness hasn’t disappeared. My face looks better in some ways, but it still doesn’t fully feel like mine yet. This is the part of recovery where nothing is dramatic, nothing is scary, but everything is still very present.
In this video, I’m sharing what Day 13 of facelift recovery actually feels like when healing becomes subtle. I talk about what’s improved, what hasn’t, how my face feels throughout the day, and the emotional weirdness of being “better” but not done.
If you’re researching facelift recovery timelines, this is the stage that often gets skipped. It’s not shocking enough for before and afters, but it’s very real.
For context, I’m over 50 and lost about 120 pounds, which left me with loose skin on my face and neck. I had a facelift, neck lift, upper blepharoplasty, a lower lid pinch, fat grafting, earlobe reduction, and salivary gland reduction. I share these details because I know how hard it is to find honest, day by day recovery content.
Each video in this facelift recovery series stands on its own. You don’t have to watch them in order to understand what’s happening here.
