So this design idea was sparked by Shay at BB Turning youtube.com/@UCP3tJAxtC43SsghSpcdX_1A
I have been chatting about the design with Mike Waldt for the last few weeks, then Steve called for a chalice in the latest #week youtube.com/watch?v=1GS8m8dBiAs which made it time to try the shape out. What was in my imagination isn't what I cut here, but I had this piece of Oak and wanted to use it so I modified the design to suit the timber splits and all.
