After going through a tutorial forest and checking out Globule's house, it's time to actually start this game!
You get a map of your progress, with several "Worlds" or areas to go through with their own number of levels. The first of these is Former Fields.
Former Fields Level 1 is a calm stage. A pretty stage too with some very pleasant music to match. Use what you may have learned in the tutorial to get to the end of this stage.
Globule starts out with yellow beewax for health. As such, you can die if it runs out, but there aren't any lives. The check points you can find take the form of cute tiny fairies that appear from colorful pods.
You can collect blue beeswax to add an extra layer of health to reach yellow one, allowing Globule to live longer. The first of Serge's wares in his shop is to give you a Phial hat turns all of your health blue from the start of a stage.

Remember that you can only use Special Attacks with Linseed Points, and you can get those from either smashing open jars full of them or beating them out of enemies. Even then, you can only have up to 20 Linseeds at a time, though are ways to increase this limit.
In almost every stage, there are Heart Fragments to collect. Some just need to be found and smashed open, while others will require a certain take for you to do to reach them, such as rolling a ball into a magic net.
Get all 5 Heart Fragments in each level of each area, and you'll eventually unlock something extra for that area.
All of the colorful drops are used as money for Serge's Shop. Collecting 100 of them at a time will also heal you a bit if necessary, including giving you blue health.

As far as combat goes, one thing I couldn't do in the tutorial is a deadly counterattack. If you time your block against any enemy attack, Globule will do a powerful and invincible counter!
Also remember that you have more than just a Double Jump to reach high heights. Mix in your Up Special and more so your Up Air Dodge into the mix to make yourself go really high!

To clear a stage, get to the tall Heart Pedestal at the end and smash it open. You should make sure you have all 5 Heart Fragments (which are unrelated to the pedestal) before doing this, so you can clear each stage in one go!
