Originally written by Hellbastard, "Dark side" first appeared on their 1987 "Hate militia" demo. Debauchery, who also lived in the Newcastle area and were close friends of the band, made their own version of the song for their album in 1989, and so did Hellkrusher on their first Lp, "Wasteland", in 1990.
