Did you hear about the Cambrian explosion and the challenge it poses to Evolution?
The Cambrian Explosion is a spectacular event in the history of life, 540mya, , where the oceans "suddenly" swarmed with animal life that seemed to have popped into existence within a very short time (w.r.t. the history of life, 11-25mil years).
This event has been raising a question mark whether it can be explained by neo-Darwinian mechanisms, which I argue that it can't!
Watch this debate, where I argue with Jackson Wheat, an American Biology Grad Student, whether the Cambrian explosion can be explained by Neo-Darwinian Mechanisms, namely Random Mutation and Natural Selection, or it the theory fails to explain it.
In his pro stance, Jackson argued that the Cambrian would not negate the premises of Darwinian evolution.
In the debate, I believe that as Finding Truth, I have made the point that the Cambrian explosion is a standing proof of the external injection of information into living systems from an external source, namely God! Very strong examples from unprecedented complex creatures and structures that popped into existence in the Cambrian were presented as evidence!
