Here I debate Matt (Apolojedi apolojedi.com/) on the topic of "Does the Bible teach that the Earth is young." Here I make the argument that the Bible is agnostic concerning the age of the Earth. The primary argument is that Gen 1:1-2 shows that there is preexisting matter before day one. Matt's arguments largely were focused around the first day of the six days of creation being an absolute beginning with nothing before it. If one follows the genealogy of Adam till today then you can see that the Bible is clear about the age of the Earth. Happy listening.
