deathroadtocanada.com coming out soon!
This is the next video covering one full playthrough of the game on Familiar Faces Extreme Mode. This has 60% more zombies than normal, and you almost always find custom characters you've made in the character maker.
Dannie, Kathey, and Claudi continue onward to Canada after a great start. Dannie was turned partly into stone by a Toilet Genie, so she's now unusually tough. The group also stole a medieval axe from a trader camp, and managed to survive the consequences.
Then pretty much the entire group dies shortly afterward. Notes:
- I probably should have skipped that gas station siege rescue mission. Sieges tend to be pretty tough, rescue missions tend to be pretty tough, and the combination of the two is deadly.
- This time, I chose not to recruit the person I rescued. I guessed that she had bad stats, and I wanted to save on food, anyway.
- Surviving a siege or tough hazard event gives you a list of randomized group rewards. If you have 3 people in your team or more, there's also an option to give a single person in the team a greater reward. This has the disadvantage of not applying to the whole group, so only the chosen person gets anything.
- Luck can turn around really fast! You can turn a near group wipe around by surviving long enough to get more people recruited. As long as you have one person alive, you can still keep going.
