Some miscellaneous glitch discoveries from my recent re-visit of Deadly Premonition. Kazooie was also present in three of the recording sessions and might be a player in some of these clips.

0:00 - I thought about skipping the Hospital puzzle by dropping straight to Ushah using some wall clip. After some searching, I did find a pretty convenient OoB method in the 1st floor resting room, but unfortunately it looks like the morgue is too many rooms away and nothing except Ushah's character model is loaded there.

0:21 - a random attempt at wallclipping using the gurneys in the Hospital otherworld. In this particular spot it just gets York stuck between two layers of walls.

0:42 - if you get to The Tree of Anna early in Chapter 4, there's a curious side effect that lets you go out of bounds quite easily. The auto-walk trigger that normally prevents York from leaving the crime scene can activate from the wrong direction. With the correct positioning, you can use it to have York walk through nearby collision and go exploring the nearby hills.

Unfortunately, this hill is just a secluded "island" with no pathways to the rest of the game world. There's a line of fences that looks like a potential escape route, but in my foolishness I'd broken the middle one back in Chapter 2 already. I considered restarting my save just to get it fixed!

But it turns out that even if the bridge was intact, you almost certainly still couldn't escape since there are also invisible walls blocking both sides of the pathway. Due to Kazooie's suggestion, I tested this by dropping on the fence, the attempting to leave back to the side I came from, only to get mercilessly blocked.

(Not on the vid: since the profiling sequence hasn't started yet, it's possible to use flare and radio in this area. I tried overlapping both of these things with the auto-walk trigger, but couldn't get anything strange to happen.)

1:37 - another odd thing regarding early Tree of Anna during Chapter 4 is that you can see Jim and the kids hanging out at the Observation Deck late at night. They're not marked on the map and don't have anything interesting to say. Jim has a mildly glitchy animation when you talk to him, though.

2:11 - a pointless car OoB near Harry's Mansion. You can get over the hedge fence and drive around in a secluded forest-area with cheap looking 2d-textures.

2:53 - an OoB at the start of the Lumber Mill. I pondered if it would be possible to return to the entrance from here, just in case there's a loading trigger behind the doorway. Alas, there isn't much floor out of bounds in any of these indoors maps, it seems.

3:16 - some object drawing logic-related OoB at the start of Chapter 8. At some positions the door that you came through disappears, allowing you to go behind it. It's just a tiny closet-sized compartment, though, with no weird loading triggers to be found.

3:39 - for some reason York can park his car right next to some collision at some gates past the crossroads that lead to Harry's Mansion. Here, I found out that you can enter your car through walls. I wonder if this morsel of information will ever come in handy anywhere...

4:07 - stylish trick shot using the Dart Gun. To fire upwards like this, first aim towards a wall so that York pulls back his arms, then turn away from the wall and fire at the precise moment before York extends his arms again. Wonder if you could destroy a padlock from behind a fence using this tactic?
