Chubzdoomer | Dead Space (2023) Gameplay (Ultra Settings/60 FPS) @Chubzdoomer | Uploaded January 2023 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
The first 40+ minutes of the excellent Dead Space remake from Motive Studio.
The best thing about this remake is how faithful it is to the original game. It preserves virtually everything that made the original so great, while throwing in a ton of improvements across the board. In addition to the much prettier graphics (it now runs on the Frostbite engine), it also sports revamped level designs, improved dismemberment, brand new side quests, and much more. Anyone who claims it's nothing more than a graphical update couldn't possibly be more wrong!
Even if you've never played the original, this is one survival horror game you can't afford to miss. Not only is it one of the best remasters I've played to date, it's quite arguably the best survival horror game in existence.
Note: This gameplay is from the PC version with every setting maxed out (including Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion) and Film Grain disabled.
Timestamps:
00:00 Intro/Docking on the Ishimura
05:06 Investigating the Ishimura
13:59 Replacing the Damaged Tram
22:39 Finding the Data Board
35:15 Returning to the Kellion
