The 1944 documentary D-Day to Germany was shot, edited, and narrated by Jack Lieb, a "News of the Day" correspondent who was assigned to cover the invasion of France. He shot this film for himself while also working for the Hearst Corporation newsreel. After the war, Mr. Lieb created a traveling film and lecture program. The National Archives restored the film together with a recording of his original narration.
