Historian and documentary filmmaker Elizabeth Cobbs and Mark Kramer, program director of Harvard University's Project on Cold War Studies, talked about the Cold War as part of C-SPAN's "1968: America in Turmoil" series. As the year came to a close, the Apollo 8 mission sent three astronauts into the moon's orbit for the first time, and their live Christmas Eve broadcast reading from Genesis was watched by millions worldwide.
