It's inevitable, at some point in your game, characters are going to have different goals. When handled properly, this isn't a bad thing, and in fact, can be one of the BEST things.

Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop RPGs are collaborative games by their nature, designed to be cooperative. But just because a game is co-op doesn't mean the characters all have to have the same goals.

In this video we discuss constructive ways to handle characters in the group having different goals, and we also explain why think it's a rich well to draw from.
