For today's Simple Stories Saturday hop I challenged myself to do a couple things I rarely do: Use a single collection and NOT add stash items just for Calvinball points. I managed 32 points just with things that were in the collection, which surprised me! I love the page and aside from the little hedgehog the embellishments depict actual pets that we've had through the years. Buffy, the beautiful and sweet and wonderful pup pictured in a failed photography attempt, was possibly the one we had for the shortest period of time. She went to an awesome home and had a much better environment to just be Buffy. We "kept in touch" through our veterinarian who connected us to the new owners and she lived a long and happy life after we had our chance to love her.
This collection is awesome and I look forward to using more, mixing it with other collections for pet or non-pet pages! I did venture outside the collection for the Bramble Fox title but it was so perfect for a nostalgic page remembering a special man and his love for this special doggie. Thanks for watching!
