DAY14: Edit with images of yourself!

This was much more fun that I had expected :D At first I was a little anxious as to what I should do for this day. But then I thought about my 1,5 years I spent in the USA as an Au Pair. This was such a great experience ♥ I have been there from August 18th 2013 - March 11th 2015. So my departure is almost exactly 5 years ago! I can't believe that it's been that long :D

My host family was amazing, I made soooo many new friends (still talk to them! - but I only focused on pictures of myself because of privacy reasons) & I visited many amazing places, as you can see in this video :D I stayed in New Jersey, which is why I could do many trips to NYC. But I also spent two weeks on the West Coast, a week each on Hawaii, Florida and Texas. And there were many little trips besides those. But other than being a tourist, I could experience the American life, which was really nice! You often hear people say 'Americans are so stupid, etc.' - I always feel offended because they're not all the same. I'm super grateful to have met so many nice people over there, you cannot believe that! After my Au Pair year I've been visiting my host family twice again - and I hope to do so next year as well :)

The song just came out a few weeks before my adventure started & I instantly liked it because of that! :) It's really positive & makes me smile thinking about one of the best times in my life ♥
