My good buddy Dave Outdoors #embraceit and I tackled one of my local trails as a day hike namely the ‘Simon Evans Way’.
This is a 14 mile route established in memory of a famous poet who walked this route as a post round delivering to all the local farms dotted along the flow of the River Rea.
It was a great way to get out and get some fresh air and burn off those Christmas calories.
It ended up just shy of 14 miles and the mud was horrendous !
We have great plans for some day hikes and multi day hikes in store for 2020 so I hope you’ll enjoy!
