⇥ Authorities continue exploring leads in Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi and Connecticut as it relates to the escape of Joshua James Zimmerman, according to law enforcement sources.

⇥ Residents in those regions should remain especially vigilant.

⇥ Over a month ago, Joshua Zimmerman made a daring escape from a Mississippi courtroom, believed to be heading toward Connecticut. He has not been seen since.

⇥ Friends have now revealed to me that Zimmerman once called Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook shooter, “courageous” for being able to “pull off that sort of shit.”

“He had some weird fascination with that type of weird sh—t, sick sh—t. He called Adam Lanza ‘corageous’ for ‘living and dying by the sword.’ I’m pretty sure it was my senior year of high school when it happened. I mean with a massive manhunt for a person wanted by multiple states, I think ignoring his personal life would be a pretty dumb move.”

✘ The manhunt has been further complicated by actions from Tina Petrillo, Zimmerman’s mother.

⇥ Initially, Petrillo admitted to financially aiding her son and communicating with him on the day of his escape.

⇥ In a heartfelt Facebook post, she disclosed making three phone calls and three CashApp transactions, pleading with her son to surrender to the U.S. Marshals—a move that highlighted the case’s severity.

⇥ However, Petrillo has since retracted her statements, creating new obstacles for law enforcement. This reversal not only suggests a deeply conflicted family dynamic but also complicates the ongoing legal efforts.

➡️ Last Confirmed Sighting: 39 Days/4 Weeks | Date: Jun. 14 in DeSoto County, Mississippi

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, along with the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force, are intensifying their search after indications that Zimmerman was in the Memphis, TN area.

Zimmerman, listed at 5’11” and approximately 210 pounds, is believed to have shaved his beard since his escape and is considered extremely dangerous. Do not approach.

He has ties to Memphis, Tennessee, and Waterbury, Connecticut. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to Zimmerman’s arrest.
