Sharing a little taste of the incredible Fleur Woods Textile Art Retreat I am attending this week at the beautiful Green Door studios hosted by Zoe Wood. #slowstitching #artretreat

Today was day 1 and in this video I share a Green Dood studio tour in photos showing the beautiful tables laid with slow stitching supplies, fresh flowers and Fleur’s inspirational textile and slow stitch art works.

Then it was on to playing with fabrics and paints -reawakening that childhood sense of curiosity, fun and playfulness. Wonderful experiments dyeing fabrics with Derwent inktense, acrylics and gouache.

And then a beautiful afternoon of storching which I continued on my return home.

At the end of the video I share some of what we’ve seen while we’ve been here in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
