On holiday with the Syntakt again! After my last live set last Friday, I feel it’s time to try some new stuff. I added a lot more percussive elements than usual, and used the Syntakt the same way as I use the SQ-1 for the “melodies”, where I play with unquantised pitches.
This is actually the third version of this I played and recorded. The first two had more tonal variation on the lead, drops, etc. I decided that this works better unrelenting and with a fairly consistent dark filtered square wave, constantly changing the lead sequence instead of changing the tone.
