BYU-tv analyst and former Cougar star David Nixon joined the Y's Guys straight from his son's Little League football practice to preview fall camp, predicting the Cougars deserve a top-15 ranking but will realistically land closer to 17th or 18th in the preseason AP poll.
David named wide receiver as the one real question mark on an otherwise loaded roster, noting nobody has emerged yet as a true go-to playmaker in the mold of Puka Nacua or Chase Roberts, and said fall camp reps against a talented secondary will be the proving ground that gives coach Kalani Sitake and the rest of the offensive staff a clear picture of who steps up.
