Performer & artist David Hoyle presents a new exhibition exploring addiction, gay culture and mental health which premieres at Homotopia. David often raises the issue of mental health in his performances. In his first solo exhibition for Homotopia, Hoyle has created a stark & uncompromising series of paintings and collages reflecting his own life experiences.
David’s Drop In’
On Saturday 1, Sunday 2 & Saturday 8 November at 2pm David will be hosting a drop-in at the gallery exploring his artistic practice and background to this new exhibition. Free but booking essential by emailing artistic@homotopia.net
David’s Drop-In has been supported by Liverpool Mental Health Consortium as part of Liverpool’s World Mental Health Day 2014 programme.
David also features in Scars on Sunday on 9th November. Join this Honky Tonk Mass starring David Hoyle as High Priest. An irreverent night of cabaret, worship, song and dance with special guest comedian David Mills & Debs Gatenby.
