The Sissy’s Progress is Nando Messias’ artistic response to an act of homophobic hatred. It is part installation, part dance-theatre, part walking performance. The afternoon is a spectacle of surprise, questioning and hyper flamboyance.
The Sissy’s Progress is performed by Nando Messias along with Musical Director Jordan Hunt and five exceptional musicians. Follow the live marching band to accompany The Sissy’s Progress to its floridly medieval climax.
