After the death of their ill-tempered and controlling father, two middle-aged sisters find themselves at a loss. An unexpected visitor sparks the courage in them to begin their lives anew. This is a merry, rude and lyrical adaptation of the modernist short story of the same name, written by Katherine Mansfield in 1920.

Après la mort de leur père autoritaire au caractère difficile, deux sœurs d'âge mûr se retrouvent désemparées. L'arrivée inattendue d'un visiteur fait naître en elles le courage de recommencer leur vie. Une adaptation joyeuse, insolente et lyrique de la nouvelle moderniste éponyme écrite par Katherine Mansfield en 1920.
