!!DISCLAMER!! This animatic contains some headcannons that I've created for the sake of storytelling in waiting for the release of Ninjago's upcoming season. Please be aware of this fact.
The animatic/PMV takes place in between the events of Seabound and Nya's funeral. When Ninjago was under siege by the wrath of Wojira and Kalmaar, Nya had been forced to sacrifice her mortal body to become one with the sea. Her departure was devastating to the people of Ninjago, knowing that while the decision had to be done, it was not her choice to make. Jay is especially saddened by this as Nya was his yang, and their promise to stay with each other forever was ultimately broken. Nya can now only watch her family fade from the ocean's borders, and Jay watch her be separated and possibly drift away from her family forever, lest she remembers who she is or the team discover a way to return her home...
I had heard the concept of this song and immediately thought of Seabound but wanted to make sort of a "oh Nya, why'd you have to go" kind of vibe to it (because thats how I still feel). In making this, I really wanted to push the limits of CSP when it came to making an animatic and BOY it was a trip! While the animatic is on the shorter side of things, this took me FOREVER to do, so I hope you like it ;)

Were now getting to a point where I can do remasters of art Ive uploaded to the channel HUH??-
I made this redraw of Cassie Rose a few weeks ago and realized I uploaded a timelapse of the old version here back in 2022 👀 so here I am making a new timelapse of the new version for comparison!
I personally wasnt super happy with this piece, it felt like I just went overboard with the lighting and the flowers are still not very improved as they were before. But Ive come to start appreciating how far Ive come, and I still wanna maintain that optimism Ive had when I uploaded the older version with this version too :3

Happy 9th Anniversary to my favorite goofy block spin off game!!!! 🎉🎉 It still doesnt feel real that this game is 9 years old, it always hits home whenever I get around to playing it ^^
This year I decided to sit and make a simple poster for what I call the Wither Arc of Season 1 (Episodes 1-4) When I was younger one of my ambitions for MCSM was to make a comic series retelling the story from the perspective of the choices I made playing the game. While that ambition has now evolved into retelling the game through animations, I wanted this poster to act like a cover for said comic to sort of honor that memory ^^ hope you guys like it!
