Happy 15 years Ninjago!!! 🎂🎉 I'm so glad I rewatched the series again up to the March of the Oni special; figured why not draw a little something from that finale for the big day? This lil ninja family mean so much to me dangit- 💛💚❤️🩵💙🤍
I've been around with Ninjago since S2 was airing back on Cartoon Network, and became a superfan of the show when Sons of Garmadon aired (the oni trilogy becoming my all time favorite ninjago seasons ^^) its insane how far the series has come in 15 years and how many people genuinely resonate with it too! Glad to be part of the ride :D

the first bit of legitimate content and its a rough storyboard lol sorry guys !! Ive had this on file for a couple months now and wanted to share it when the full reanimation project was completed. While I really wish I couldve been able to actually animate the whole thing, I still wanted to share the boards I managed to make rather than let this thing rot away in my files. Happy 9th Anniversary to my favorite goofy block spin off game!!!! 🎉🎉 It still doesnt feel real that this game is 9 years old, it always hits home whenever I get around to playing it ^^
This year I decided to sit and make a simple poster for what I call the Wither Arc of Season 1 (Episodes 1-4) When I was younger one of my ambitions for MCSM was to make a comic series retelling the story from the perspective of the choices I made playing the game. While that ambition has now evolved into retelling the game through animations, I wanted this poster to act like a cover for said comic to sort of honor that memory ^^ hope you guys like it!
