Datapack demo (This one specifically the Green Challenge datapack) @BatHeartMC

I've been learning a bit about functions, and have made a datapack which features a countdown timer for use in 'set-time-limit challenges'. It was specifically made for Rick Clark's Green Challenge, but can be easily adapted for use in any challenge where you aim to complete as much as you can within a specified time.
You click an object on your hotbar to start the timer.
While the countdown timer is running, you can keep an eye on the time remaining just above the hotbar (the 'action bar')
When the timer reaches zero, there are visible and audible indications that the time has finished, and you are placed into creative mode to enable you to check your score (unmolested by mobs!)

$Hold Your Breath - run 3 The Hold Your Breath Challenge Set by EddCase GOAL: Gather the following items as fast as possible without leaving the water. Magma Block / Heart of the Sea / Gold Block / Redstone Dust / Glow Ink Sac RULES: 1) Create new world. In CREATIVE / HARD difficulty / random seed. Map Mods not allowed. Coordinates are permitted. If NOT using the datapack 2) When setting up the game: Set the GameRule KeepInventory true (Keep inventory after death ON)) 3) Give yourself the following items: (1) Diamond Pick (1) Diamond Axe (1) Diamond Shovel (1) Crafting Table (64) Steak an enchanted turtle helmet with the following command: /item replace entity @s armor.head with turtle_helmet{Enchantments:[{id:minecraft:respiration,lvl:200s},{id:minecraft:aqua_affinity,lvl:2s},{id:minecraft:unbreaking,lvl:3s}]} 1 4) Give yourself Night Vision: /effect give @s minecraft:night_vision 999999 0 true 5) Give yourself Dolphins Grace: /effect give @s minecraft:dolphins_grace 999999 1 true 6) Set Gamemode to survival: /gamemode survival 7) Locate the nearest deep ocean. /locatebiome minecraft:deep_ocean Teleport to the coordinates If youre using the datapack, right click the Start/Stop item and skip to step 10 (begin!). 8) Set your world spawn in case you die during the challenge. /setworldspawn 9) Issue a /time query gametime command to note your starting time. 10) Collect (1) each of: Magma Block / Heart of the Sea / Gold Block / Redstone Dust / Glow Ink Sac 11) When you have the items issue a 2nd /time query gametime 12) Subtract your first time from your final time to determine your score. Person with the fastest time wins.
