This dash camera video was recorded on Sunday, May 24, 2026, and posted on Facebook on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. It apparently shows Sherwood (Arkansas) Mayor Mary Jo Heye-Townsell picking up trash on the side of the Brockington Road overpass off Interstate 57 with a police escort.

Sherwood resident Michael Levi said in an interview that he was asked by several other residents to put in a request for the footage and share it online. Levi expressed concerns that the mayor was inappropriately using city resources. After the video was shared, Sherwood Police Chief Jeff Hagar said he decided to provide the mayor with a police escort after learning that she would pick up trash on weekends in the early mornings.
