Ah memories 124XAD crashing my bike. I saw him 3 months later speeding then doing an illegal turn
584VPN pretend taxi who doesn't know his give way rules
A dominos pizza cyclist proceeding a red light. The company was contacted but I got no reply
black and white taxi 2224 T51160 first drove straight into my lane on a turn then further up the road nearly steered into me again.
Another black and white cab randomly stopping in the middle of the road and also no headlights (Nothing new there)
RAJ000 randomly stopping and not sure if he wants to turn
A beat up camry keeping up the camry name by nearly clipping the bull bar on the bus
092TPG being a pushy idiot and cutting me off
A twit totally oblivious to his surroundings standing on the road looking down at his phone

A few facts....
Australia has a good welfare system called Centrelink. My tax dollars go towards paying for it.
Unemployed his age would get paid about $350 / week (including maximum rental assistance). Potentially they (as individuals) could be getting combined $700 / week.
A 2 bedroom rental property is about $330 + each week (so basically too expensive for just 1 person but for 2, it is possible).
Living a simple life you would expect to pay about $500
/ week (rent, electricity, internet, food, phone) which would leave these two with $200 spare / week.
Real estate agents usually want you to earn 3 times what your rent is to be considered. i.e. If your rental is $300 / week , you must net (clear) at least $900 or have proof of ability to pay [say $10,000 +cash ]
There is currently a rental shortage where this is filmed. Basically when you go to view a property, there will be 20 + (sometimes a lot more) people viewing and mostly applying for the property. Only 1 of them can be successful.
This means you have about 5% chance of getting the property if all candidates are equal. Due to this, some applicants offer $10 - $40 extra on top of the requested rent quoted to try to secure the property.
I personally struggled to find a property after I lost my job due to the covid outbreak in 2020. In fact, due to the job situation, my age, unemployment levels, etc it is difficult to find a full time job. So basically I am a casual who is probably currently earning around the same / just above unemployment at times. The difference is... I work for my money. I go to work, work as hard as I can, cop crap from customers / other staff members , go home and pay my bills. I dont just go to centrelink and bludge off the system like these people are doing.
In fact, combined they would be getting paid more than I currently am.
Im not complaining or asking for help . Im just explaining my situation , my reasoning , my disgust at these people.
Why they were evicted could be for numerous reasons (junkies who dont pay the rent / destroy the place , property got taken back by the owner for whatever reason [yes, happened to me recently] * i.e. They might want to live there now , greedy owners jacking up the rent too high due to the shortage of rental properties, etc)
It is obvious from the lesions on her legs and his ankles (pants covering most), the numerous missing teeth on him (not shown), the face (not shown) that they are druggies spending money on drugs (meth perhaps)
For this reason, I decided not to help them. Ive helped genuine homeless people before however.
Ps She was vaping (probably hidden due to blur) and can afford that, but cant afford the rent ???? From research, vape pens are $15 - $30 / week. Pod mods (looked like what she had) are between $55 - $75
I know that there are professional beggars out there who earn more than a qualified trade person. It was obvious that these are just druggies however and most likely unemployable / unreliable.
Id be interested in your opinion regarding this and if you think youd give them money or not with all the facts Ive given you. Would you have helped ? Homeless druggies](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xr-3Uh7KuNM/mqdefault.jpg)
