The system strikes again. As you'll see from the video, the system has a lot of problems. This ranges from the app crashing regularly to the actual back end failing and rehashing problems that were already solved.
It's enough to drive someone crazy, yet drivers have to deal with it every day.
The driver is fighting with an AI / automated system which never gets tired. It will just keep sending you stupid emails but with no useful information most of the time (dates / the exact issue).
One error I made was that there were not 13 still showing, but about 7-10 (should have grabbed a snapshot). That's why I found 10 emails and not 13. Rest assured, all packages were either delivered or returned and ones that couldn't be marked were emailed to them which the AI dealt with (some successfully, some it failed)
One other thing... The station was about 25 Km from my house which meant a 50 Km round trip on that day . Yaay ! To top it off, it takes about an hour to get there and 55 minutes to get back home typically so 2 hours plus up to 30 minutes rotting at the station.
Just to be clear, problems with deliveries are promptly relayed to support / their AI via phone call or email. (on the same day of the delivery). The system just has problems and then sends out these stupid messages (typically 3 - 13 days later) which affects your standing .
You can reply to them, but then the AI gets even more confused. Even when you don't work for them anymore, the system keeps sending emails every 1 - 4 days rehashing things. My system then sends an auto reply email, "Thankyou for your email. This email will be reviewed" and the system then gets confused more. It's a crazy system. It seems it reads its own words which is separate from my responder and then thinks it is a new problem. NOTE: Even when I didn't have the auto responder, it was still crazy. I just find it amusing seeing it replying to itself. This is kind of like the video "The agony of trying to unsubscribe James Veitch"
The problem with working with them is that the whole thing sends you broke. You waste hours of your time every day for below minimum wage. Because of desperation and no time to find a job, you keep doing it which sends you more broke.
I do see why some drivers don't give a stuff about anything and just throw parcels over the fence. Even yesterday I was working in the rain. Another driver had delivered a parcel but hadn't put it under cover properly. The package was wet. I moved it more into the dry (after placing my delivery in a dry area) but the box was already quite wet and was almost stuck to the ground due to the soggyness. It's really not worth your time doing this "job"
