Former Powderfinger guitarist and songwriter Darren Middleton talks to Australian Musician about his new solo album Pathways, due for digital release on September 4, 2026, with vinyl available now. In this in-depth interview, Middleton discusses the songwriting and recording process behind Pathways, moving away from the instrumental approach of his previous album Novella to focus on vocals, lyrics, guitar and piano.
